Heartland Farms, Inc. an established and progressive Central Wisconsin agri-business is searching for a full-time:


Applications Support Programmer


The Applications Support Programmer reports directly to the Director of IT and is responsible for producing new or modified computer applications and reporting, from research and design through implementation, training and support. For larger applications, programmers may work in a team with other inside and outside programming resources to complete different aspects of the system


 


Job Responsibilities



  • Work with Heartland staff (e.g. Farm Management, Ag Technology, Shipping Operations) to plan program code enhancements and changes.

  • Create, test and maintain Heartland Farms program assets, including MS Access and other SQL Database tools

  • Create reports using reporting tools such as MS SQL Reporting Services & Tableau Reporting

  • Provide assistance to Heartland Farms technical support staff, when they are unable to resolve a program, SQL Database, or other IT issue

  • Occasionally work with customers and vendors, as needed, to clarify the intent of new features or to resolve problems that may arise

  • Provide general programming assistance to other Heartland Farms Programmers as may be needed

  • Other items as assigned by the Director of IT


Education/Experience



  • Degree in a Computer Science related field with an emphasis on programming; or

  • 3+ year's experience working with:

    • MS Access Database style tools,

    • SQL Server databases,

    • MS SQL Reporting Services

    • Component One Studio Suite & Tableau

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
